Today we played in the regional finals against JCA. The game went into double overtime 5-5 but came short in the end. We all contributed to this game and season in some way. I hit a home-run and my final batting average was a .562 with 73 at bats, 21 RBI’s, and 41 hits.

Another outstanding week for Chill Gold Softball 18u finishing 3rd at the Easton Invite this past weekend. This is on the heels of a 3rd place finish at the Boulder IDT the previous week. 19 games over 12 days in two states with 12 healthy players against top competition. #🐧strong

One of my favorite parts of the season is our year end dinner. Tonight the 18u team and their families enjoyed each others company at Louie's by the Bay in Newport Beach. The people that play softball here make this place special. We truly do love and appreciate them.

Amazing afternoon and early evening at Andrew. Providence was on the brink of a slaughter-rule win, before Andrew rallied to put the tying run in the on-deck circle. I'll have a story upcoming about the Celtics' comeback kid, Sophia Thormeyer.

Before the game, Providence coach Jim Holba told me that it was going to be cool to have Sophia Thormeyer fully healthy and playing second base. And wow, did she put on a show! Talking to her after the Celts beat Andrew was also cool. Here's the story! chicagotribune.com/2024/03/26/sop…
