What an amazing end to the 2023 summer travel ball season. Won 2nd place in Florida Sates, losing to our 18U sisters in a walk off Homerun. I grew tremendously ending with a .326 batting average on almost 50 plate appearances with 3 doubles and a homerun. Hard work pays off!

The varsity softball team opened the season by routing the Southridge HS Spartans 15-0.  The Bobcats were powered by Junior Sophia Pierro who hit 2 home runs bringing in 5 runs and scoring 3 runs. Sophomore Valerie Portuondo went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and scoring 3 runs.

Lourdes defeated the Braddock HS Bulldogs 11-6. Vale Portuondo 2 RBIs with a double and scored. Sophia Pierro batted in another 2, Jaqui Perez Abreu hit a triple and scored 3 runs. Mia Rivera pitched gave up only 1 hit in the 6.2 innings and struck out 8 batters.
