So finally I’ve hit 40 and must admit I’m glad it’s over with. A strange feeling it being my first being single for 20 years so was nice to spend it with my dad and 2 boys in a quiet bit of Cornwall he used to take me as a kid.

My 7 year old made this all by himself for the villages annual scarecrow display. Then he said we should do a free book swap and collected his old books and put them in a box next to it. Kids ay…for brief moments they can be the best.
