Continuing the journey of optimal LLM-assisted coding experience. In particular, I find that instead of narrowing in on a perfect one thing my usage is increasingly diversifying across a few workflows that I "stitch up" the pros/cons of: Personally the bread & butter (~75%?) of

mcp servers are awesome they - expose tools that never get called - bloat context and then you ask me why opencode is using so many tokens - crash constantly and break everything when they do

anyway, because this was the origin of the post, we shouldn't forget that 4o has its own issues stemming from the same naive approach of how to shape model behavior, in that instead of "do the task and follow these rules", its entire existence is geared towards "please the user

VR Developers, don’t use the Meta XR SDK to develop your games. Whether you use Unity or Unreal, you should use the built-in OpenXR support in the engines. The Meta XR SDK only works with Quest & Link; it is a buggy mess hardcoded to not work with other runtimes and headsets.
