I am delighted to share our new accelerated PAINT technique, called resPAINT, now published in Angewandte Chemie. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an… Just in time for my talk at #SMLMS2022 Thanks to the hard work of all authors and excellent mentoring from Steven F. Lee and Aleks Ponjavic

Very happy to see that our paper (chosen as the cover image!) is finally out in the March 2023 Edition of PLOS Genetics, check it out to see what a chromatin fibre undergoing transcription looks like at super-resolution: journals.plos.org/plosgenetics/a… 🧬😄

We show multicolor electron microscopy (EM) by developing nanoprobes that emit light when excited by electrons! We simultaneously capture optical and EM images with nanoscale resolution determined by the e-beam - no need for registration! #CLEM Max Prigozhin and Jeremy B. Conway

Imaging specific biomolecules with fluorescence microscopy is good. Imaging cellular ultrastructure with electron microscopy is good. Imaging both with one method is better. In our paper, we approach this goal by making multicolor probes for electron microscopy. #microscopy

Ever been annoyed that your autofocus doesn't work with certain objectives? We have a solution! Great work by PhD student @AmirSTORMic

New pre-print! SMLM can detect intermolecular interactions, but how? We describe an algorithm that treats intermolecular interactions probabilistically to determine the absolute number of interacting molecules: biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Congrats Xingchi, Polly, Arvind and Sohaib!

Main project of postdoc out now: nature.com/articles/s4146… . General gist: if you can do parallel two-photon optogenetics, stick a fancy camera on your microscope and you can also do two-photon voltage imaging (even in-vivo)! 🥳🔬⚡️
