Check out the #scicomm article highlighting our work. We thank SERB for initial funding 🙏, and The Journal of Chemical Physics for recognizing our work as Editors' choice article ASHA THOMAS Vivek N Bhat IISc Bangalore

Very excited to attend Amitav's concert this Thursday! First doctoral colloquium from the group! AMITAV SAHU

Sweet! Congratulations to both Asha and Vivek, took us a few iterations to get the spectrometer working at full throttle! IISc Bangalore Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit

happy to let the interested audience tweak our phase-stabilized interferometers, Q_Karyashala Workshop IISc Quantum Technology Initiative Sayan Ghosh @SanjoyP01204283

Amitav defended his Ph.D. dissertation today. It was an incredible journey that started from a lab space filled with construction material. He will soon be starting as postdoc at Lund University, a powerhouse in Chemical Physics. Kudos AMITAV SAHU , very excited for the future!

Jitu's farewell treat(s) from April. This week JITU MALLICK joins the Ph.D. program Michigan Chemistry to start the next chapter in his academic trajectory. Jitu helped us get started with strong light-matter coupling and such. Wish you the very best from musig_iisc !!

An excerpt frm Biman's work cited in Chem Nobel press release "The connecting bond between two neighboring amino acids can be characterized as "correct" or "incorrect." Delivered the R.S.Daryan Student Fellowship talk on our work - Rapid scan white light 2D spectrometer @ FCS XV/OWLS-17. Thanks to @FLOURESCENCESOCIETY for the great opportunity.ASHA THOMAS Vivek Tiwari

Look who we found in our lab this weekend !! It was our great pleasure to host David Jonas in Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit IISc Bangalore. David talked about generalized Einstein coefficients, how to *quantitatively* derive thermodynamical quantities from 2D spectra !

Really excited for Asha's Ph.D. Colloquium tomorrow! ASHA THOMAS along with AMITAV SAHU dared to join a research group at T = 0 with nothing but empty space. Hear about Asha's (and Vivek N Bhat 's) heroic Ph.D. efforts and some amazing science tomorrow! Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit

A really exciting unit day. I thank the dept Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit for giving me the opportunity to talk about our work on the role of anisotropic quantum beats in Singlet Exciton Fission. I am honoured to receive the oral presentation prize. Thanks Vivek Tiwari for the guidance.

Super excited to have won the poster award at SSCU Unit Day Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit ! Huge thanks to my supervisor Vivek Tiwari for the constant support and to my colleague Jyotiraditya for all the helpful discussions.

"All quantum beats are equal, but some quantum beats are more equal than others" - George Orwell Check out Amitav's latest work to find out which ones! AMITAV SAHU doi.org/10.1063/5.0253…

Amitav's paper on isolating the interesting quantum beats using 2D spectroscopy makes it to J Chem Phys and Chem Phys Rev Editors' Choice 2024 list! AMITAV SAHU Thank you The Journal of Chemical Physics for recognizing our ideas. Check it out below! pubs.aip.org/jcp/collection…

What does strong quantum beat amplitude and rotational flexibility implicate about the dynamics of intramolecular Singlet Fission? To know more check out my poster CH05-03.03 tomorrow from 5-7 PM at MRS 2025, seattle. #S25MRS Vivek Tiwari

Really excited for the CH-05: Multidimensional Spectroscopy (mini-CMDS) session at #S25MRS. I will be talking tomorrow about some well resolved x-peaks from our white light 2D, & fission boys Sanjoy Patra & Atandrita Bhattacharyya on their surprising new findings about singlet fission

Dr. Asha S. Thomas successfully defended her Doctoral Thesis and off to U. Ottawa for new optical adventures in the Ogilvie lab! ASHA THOMAS
