Nice win OC Softball Old Colony Cougars trailed by as many as six, but came back to best Bourne today, 17-10.

Congratulations to sophomore Lindsay Sumner, who was voted OC Player of the Week!! VS. Bourne this week, Lindsay went a combined 4 for 6 with a double and three triples. She scored 5 runs, had 3 RBI’s, a walk, and 2 stolen bases. She also played error-free in both games at 1st.

Kayleigh batted 7 for 10 with a double, a triple, scoring 7 runs, stealing 5 bases, and reaching base in 11 of 13 at-bats. She also picked up a win, pitching vs SSVT, allowing 3 hits and striking out 10 in 5 innings pitched. Also during the week, Kayleigh got her 100th hit!

With today’s win another Cougar team punched a MIAA tournament ticket. Nice win OC Softball 13-11 over SSVT Old Colony RVTHS

Madison batted .500 and reached base in 12 of 16 at-bats. Madison had a double and a triple, 2 RBIs, scored 10 runs, and stole 4 bases. Madison has steadily improved her defense at shortstop throughout the season and had 7 assists, 7 putouts, and turned a double play last week.

1st class senior night tonight for 3 of Old Colony's best! Congrats on a great 4 years and awesome season!

Maeve was 4 for 6 - reached base in 6 of 9 at-bats. 1 double, 5 RBI’s, scored 4 runs, and stole 3 bases. Maeve has improved ALL year, becoming the starting center fielder and including a diving, over-the-shoulder catch in the top of the 7th against Br. Aggie.
