Anybody can change from being fit and healthy to sick and bedbound. Anybody can develop chronic health conditions or become disabled or terminally ill. Anybody can change from being employed to unemployed and unable to work. These things can happen to anybody. Anybody.

Who on Earth thinks "Actually I'm perfectly healthy enough to work but, rather than earn a full salary I chose to define myself as unfit to work and live in poverty and uncertainty for the rest of my life because I might get a few hundred pounds extra than on jobseekers"?Nobody.
