Bill Glennon, whose packed cobblers workshop was just around the corner from the old Leinster Leader offices in Naas, would fix your shoes and bags and give you all the town news and gossip at the same time. Best wishes for a long and happy retirement. leinsterleader.ie/news/home/1021…

My daughter enters her final year of primary school in Naas today. Her memory of seven years of school life will be of prefabs. Great classmates, great teachers but still a temporary building. This building remains unfinished, 7 years later. She deserves better. Norma Foley T.D

The double standards of Ursula von der Leyen and EU leaders are laid bare. They back Israel to the hilt, even as it engages in state terror against innocent people. All wars are evil, and all victims deserve support, and until you get on that page, you have no credibility whatsoever.

Isn’t it ironic for the day that’s in it. The 5th & 6th classes of Mercy Convent Primary - Naas deliver their letters to Norma Foley T.D appealing for completion of the school. Works started in 2017, the same year that Leo Varadkar was elected Taoiseach.

Not encouraged by the words of Norma Foley T.D on Morning Ireland. Enough children have missed out on a normal school life. They shouldn’t have to beg James Lawless
