A new paper out with Springer Nature in Animal Cognition! Long in the making, as @jcaread and I worked out how to do ROC memory analyses on coal tits searching for their caches. Coal tits mostly use familiarity, not recollection, when retrieving caches: rdcu.be/dpazS
