“Don’t limit yourself to one medium. Explore! It’s ok to change.” What a beautiful day of art and college exploration! We visited a local art studio at The Eye of the Dog and then toured the School of Art and Design Texas State University. Shout out to Dr. Thomas for such a warm welcome!🐾💜

Last Friday, a group of Seniors went out to Eye of the Dog, a non-profit Art Center here in San Marcos. They got to see different studio spaces, look at areas for ceramics & multi-media art, and even meet with artists! They loved it! San Marcos High School GEAR UP_ SMCISD

Last night, SMHS Seniors were honored in an award ceremony celebrating their high school careers. The Visual Art Department chose Emma Bowie and Khatin Raymond as our Outstanding Visual Art Students. They have completed several mediums in Art and are wonderful, creative souls!
