I’m in tears to see the Palestinian art finally being recognized in such a way. This is well-deserved not only because of the brilliance of artists who made this documentary but because our story is just and deserves all the support and recognition there is in this world.

No Other Land is beautiful, intimate, powerful, timely. The reviewers love it. There’s a hungry audience for it. And it’s now an Oscar-winner. Why won’t any American distributor touch it?

In a kind and simple manner, the purest way Palestinians have, to make space for themselves in this world, Basel Adra is reminding States of their obligation to ensure that Palestinians are not ethnically cleansed: protected from genocide, unlawful occupation and apartheid.

Every anti-BDS law contributed to this. Every effort to redefine criticism of Israel as antisemitism contributed to this. This is the point of it all, weaponizing the state to silence dissent against Israel.
