Today, we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC). On 1 April 2005, the CNC replaced the UKAEA Constabulary when it was formally established as the armed police force for the protection of civil nuclear sites and nuclear material in the UK.
