Very well said. Neurodiversity is a hot word in today’s world. And while I am all for being neurodivergent affirming, we can’t affirm neurodiversity while failing to acknowledge the key piece: diversity. If you’ve seen one person with autism, you’ve seen one person with autism

Good afternoon, friendly reminder that you: - (probably) needed a morning drink of choice (coffee) - needed food - regulate your emotions related to work events You learned this as a kid; you did not come out of the womb like this. Stop expecting kids to behave like robots.

Idk who needs to hear this but you aren’t supposed to quote scientific knowledge from more than 10 years ago when writing a research paper bc it’s considered out dated. I imagine if you search “new skin cancer ID methods” we’ve made some progress in *checks notes* 50 YEARS

The men in this thread talking about “women wanted equality” are unable to decipher the difference between: Women wanting a career / bank account / the right to vote - VS - manners / decency Lol

Final word on the Harvard students need algebra debacle.: Do you know how many DOCTORS I’ve met who don’t know the difference between there / their / they’re ? Based on current rhetoric, they shouldn’t be admitted either, since they need remedial English courses.

From a positive reinforcement perspective, this is great in theory, this will fail in practice. Unless you can make each classroom replicate the circumstances under which teachers will teach and be scored, there will be immediate built in bias to this “merit.”

All of my coworkers who I only see on Google Meet are about to learn how funny I am given the right contingencies (work conference happy hour)

The oppressive part was not having a choice. Your healthcare system would also come to a screeching halt if all women quit. SLP, OT, BCBA, Nursing: mostly women. Same with education. Hope this helps.

What are the behavioral contingencies around always having hope for a good baseball team every March, and always being let down by said team?

Just saw a BCBA post on LinkedIn about accepting a “Chief Clinical Officer” role while only being a BCBA for 3.5 years. I’m not saying experience is only gained in time worked, but at what point are we not going to start calling out some of the things we are seeing?

Driving to the mall in my boyfriends blacked out Land Cruiser blasting Taylor Swift and I think this fully encompasses being a girl in a healthy relationship
