Spent Friday evening in a museum — 2枚目の作品「Luminal Air Space-Time 真空のゆらぎ」は展示室に響く布の擦れる音と相まって、満月の夜の海岸を彷彿させられました。無料で観ることができるのはお得。

FUJI TEXTILE WEEK 2023 It was my first time to see the event. As many posts indicated it’s a great exhibition, my friends and I were so much impressed and content. Look forward to the textile show next year.

Watched The Brutalist. 3時間45分があっという間に過ぎ去った作品 (途中、トイレ休憩あり)。

In Japanese, "tsundoku" means collecting books and letting them pile up, not for neglect, but for the joy of knowing they're there, full of untold stories.

「チャーリーとの旅」 ジョン・スタインベック 作 青山南 訳 (岩波文庫)を読了。1960年の秋、愛犬チャーリーを相棒に全米をロードトリップしたときの旅行記。 前半で僕自身がNew England地方を旅した記憶が鮮明に蘇り、後半でBlack Lives Matter運動が想起されるなど感慨深い作品でした。

「愛を海に還して」 小手鞠るい 作 美しい表紙に惹かれてつい手に取った一冊。主人公が引越で荷物を積める最中に見つけた未開封の段ボール箱。箱を開けてから主人公の過去の恋愛が回想されて、僕は一気読みした。読み終えた後、タイトルに込められた意味が分かって切ない気持ちに浸れる恋愛小説📕

熱帯夜に耐えきれず富士五湖へ。 道路脇の温度計で 21℃ の表示、 窓から入り込む朝の少し湿った涼風。 眼前に聳える富士山に畏敬の念を抱きつつ、 富士浅間神社にお詣り。 朝の渋滞にハマる前に帰路につく。 そんな週末のスタート。
