II B.A English students of Shift-II visited the DailyThanthi, Cuddalore,on 14- 02- 2023.More than 30 students were present along with the Staff Coordinator Mr. A. Lenin. Mr. Vanamohan,who has more than 20 years of experience in the Daily Thanthi,demonstrated the entire sections.

The District Level Neighborhood Youth Parliament Programme organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Nehru Yuva Kendra and NSS of St.Joseph's College on 11.02.2023 in The Petrine Jubilee Convention Hall. 1289 Student Volunteers participated and benefitted.

On 09.02.2023 Village Service Learning (VSL) of St.Joseph's College, organized the International Conference "Promotion of Human services and Values among students". More than 600 students from various Departments participated and benefitted through the conference.

On the eve of International Women's Day, PG Department of Social Work has organised various competitions on 07.03.2023 between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm on the theme "MATHARE - 2023". 7 events were conducted for the UG girls & 120 students from various departments have participated.

Teachers’ Day Celebration was held at St. Joseph’s College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), Cuddalore on 05.09.2023.

Spectator Club (An Intra-Departmental Club, PG & Research Department of English) organised an extension activity ‘Teachers’ Day Celebration’ on 05.09.2023 in two Government Schools at Panchayat Union Primary School, Naduveerapet, Panruti and Government High School, Puducherry.

The Department of Zoology, organised, A Hands on Training Programme, "Molecular Docking and Ligand's Study" on 08.09.2023. Ms.S.Vaijayanthi, Microbiologist and Senior Lecturer, Cuddalore, was the Resource Person. In a total of 120 students benefitted from this programme.

With the blessings of Rev. Fr. Secretary, our II MSW students have organized a programme on "Women Empowerment through Higher Education" at Kandaswami Naidu College for Women, Cuddalore on 11.09.2023 between 3 pm to 4.15 pm.

The Department of Business Administration (CA) organised one day exposure visit to SHAR- ISRO, Sriharikota on 12.09.2023 (Tuesday). 64 students from I & III year BBA(CA) participated in the exposure visit.

II. B.Sc. Zoology students began Vermiculture with African night crawlers (Earthworm Species - Eudrilus Eugenia) on 11.09.23 with the blessings of Rev. Fr. secretary. Dr.T. Ganesh Kumar, Zoology Faculty, teaches the students how to cultivate the species.

The II.B.Sc. Zoology Students, planted 500 Palm Seeds at Thirumanikuzhi Riverbank, in the Cuddalore District, on 11.09.23. Dr. T. Ganesh Kumar, Assistant Professor of Zoology, guided the students in planting Palm Trees.

The Youth Red Cross, observed "Social Justice Day" Pledge on 15th September, 2023 between 11:20 AM and 11:35 AM for Shift-I students & Shift-II students observed between 12:55 PM and 1:10 PM respectively. More than 1,700 students participated and taken the pledge.

SJC-IIC & Department of BBA (CA), organized an Expert talk titled " Process of innovation, technology readiness level (TRL), commercialization of lab technologies and tech transfer" on 06.01.2024 for the Shift I BBA(CA) students in offline mode.

The Youth Red Cross of St.Joseph's College have visited to Annai Sathya Arasu Kuzhanthaikal Kapagam, Semmandalam, to celebrate the Christmas with the childrens on 23-12-2023 between 10 am and 1 pm. More than 25 volunteers from Shift-II were involved in the programme.

The NSS units of Shift 1 & 2 celebrated PARAKRAM DIWAS on the Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on 23rd January 2024 ( lit. 'Day of Valour'), is a national event celebrated in India to mark the birthday of the prominent Indian freedom fighter

(SJC-IIC),organised a Workshop"Design Thinking, Critical Thinking and Innovation Design" on 19.02.2024 for Shift I through online mode, between 10.00 & 5.00 p.m. Mr. S.Prebagarane, Proprietor, Amaravati Traders, Pondicherry, served as the Resource Person.50 students participated.

The NSS Units of St.Joseph's organized Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July 2024 in memory of the martyrs. The Event was graced by Thiru. Veerasekaran, Indian Army Junior Commissioned Officer, Naib Subedar Thiru. Muthusamy, JC Officer and Havaldar Thiru. Arun Raj, Indian Army.
