186 ARW ➕ 4 FW 🟰 Success The Mississippi National Guard supported the 4th FW exercise #ACE concepts at #SouthernStrike2023. ACE shifts generation of airpower from large, centralized bases to networks of smaller, dispersed locations to complicate adversary planning.

The 211 RQS, aka “Guardian Angels,” cover massive distances through air & sea to rapidly recover personnel. #Maritime rescue is a critical capability necessary when operating in an ocean dominated environment such as the Pacific region, & the 4FW is at the tip of the spear.

Check out a C-17 Globemaster III from the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard as it refuels an F-15E Strike Eagle from the 4 FW, a first-ever for the 4 FW & 176th Wing aircraft to aircraft refueling gives the @USAirForce more flexibility & options when rapidly moving aircraft around combat theaters.

#OneTeamOneFight 4 FW Airmen partnered with U.S. Army to move cargo for distributed fighter operations during #SSTK23. The 4 FW worked hand-in-hand with their Army partners to continue to revolutionize the way we accomplish the mission.

Bringing the boom! With support from Special Operators, the 4FW struck targets at Rattlesnake Range at Fort Shelby, MS to sharpen their close air support tactics. These skills allow fighter aircrew to protect friendly troops on the ground and eliminate adversaries.

Fueling the fight! The 4FW is conducting missions between locations more than 550 miles apart, flying missions from the East Coast to the Gulf Coast. Aerial refueling ensures aircraft stay in the fight longer and maintain a consistent presence in contested environments.

4 FW #Airmen & Belgian Air Force (Belgian Air Force🇧🇪) weather worked side-by-side to make jump operations possible. The exchange also gave the joint forces the opportunity to trade similarities & differences allowing for more cohesive operations. #partnerships

4th FW kicks off #RazorTalon. #RT23 is an ACE focused exercise, designed to test the wing's ability to operate as a lead wing to generate #CombatAirPower, and exemplify our ability to maneuver and sustain force elements in a dynamic contested environment.

Setting the stage for #CombatAirPower! To become certified as an #AirCombatCommand designated Lead Wing, the #4FW is is set to integrate with joint partners and command and control aircraft from various units during #RazorTalon 23-1 training scenarios.

Airmen assigned to the 4th Air Expeditionary Wing launch F-15E Strike Eagles in support of #RazorTalon exercise objectives. As a #LeadWing, the #4FW commands a mission generation force element from #SJAFB and integrates with mobility air assets to deliver #CombatAirPower.
