In light of the draft of a leaked majority Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade, I want to call your attention to the people that would be impacted most by the end of legalized abortion across the United States. 🧵:

861 people died as a result of pregnancy in 2020. This number is up 18% compared to 2019. We cant be forcing carrying pregnancies when we cant even keep people alive during childbirth.

In Texas, if #RoeVWade is overturned, the law will allow up to **life in prison** for doctors providing abortion care. We can’t let it happen. Mobilize, organize, fight back—it’s not over yet.

While we are heartbroken by this #SCOTUS news, we will not close our hotline, which will remain open to provide information to Texans. Repeat: WE ARE KEEPING OUR HOTLINE OPEN.
