๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ๐ŸšจIt is starting to look like the NCSE and the Department of Education are prejudging the findings of their report and have started the process of shutting down early intervention classes. More here: facebook.com/10004813544220โ€ฆ

Lucky as I saw an obvious match of hours with a school where I know the principal = Clustered. Unless a body representing principals came out and requested us all to ignore until after the break, we know by not partaking in the Cluster games those obvious matches are gone.

Proud that our school has been part of this project. Feeling invigorated with the conversations happening about "Belonging". Well done to all involved and to Laois Education Support Centre bravo!

This fabulous family are part of our school community. Jamie's brother Ryan was with us and his mum Siobhan still volunteers on our Board of Management. #trexoforjamie

If only the 'Power of the collective' could result in adequate provision of resources to support children with additional needs in primary schools.

It needs to be reviewed entirely with ACTUAL CURRENT DATA from schools themselves, and resources allocated to meet the real level of need in our schools.

16 of 17 Between cutting the summer programme grant by 50%, cleaning grant removed, rising costs in utilities, and now this, it seems parents & schools are in for some more bad news. Free primary education has always been a myth. It looks like it will continue to be this way.

Incorrect to state all schools receive minimum Ancillary Services grant. Since secretaries were taken on by DE payroll, many schools receive โ‚ฌ0 towards caretaking costs. RTร‰ News

What a brave BOM. So many other schools on the brink of financial crisis. Fair play to them for taking a stand. Underfunding of our schools has been highlighted time and again to no avail. Wishing the best to all concerned.
