Here is what's hyped next after agents: text generation -> tool calling -> agents -> workers Workers are going to be... virtual long-running workflows that include multiple sub-agents, LLM calls, mcp calls, etc.

Users are going to assign tasks to their AI workers and check back once it's finished, then review it and optionally ask for revision. Workers will interact with any kind of saas and potentially have their own phone number and email address.
