Wanted to listen to radio coverage of the Australian A League Grand Final between Central Coast Mariners & Melbourne Victory. None of the main stations like ABC, SEN etc have it. Eventually found it on local New South Wales community radio station Coast FM 963 and works in UK coastfm.org.au

Thought I would visit the long lost football ground Tonge Hall in Middleton. It was active in the early 1900s, the home of Tonge FC of Manchester League Ltd & often used for Manchester Football Association Junior Cup SemiFinals. The actual Tonge Hall is in disrepair & the ground now is housing Tonge Meadow

I also managed to visit another of Middleton's early 1900s football grounds... This is Boarshaw Road, home of Barrowfields of the Manchester Amateur League amongst others. They folded in 1916 and the map from 1915 shows the ground that is now derelict land behind a row of houses
