I get it, sales isn’t for everyone. But I’ve seen too many founders struggle with sales, and the truth is, it’s often what makes or breaks a startup. If you can’t do it yourself, that’s totally fine. But find someone who can.

When I started my startup in 2014, I had zero sales skills. Two rookie mistakes: I steered convos to get fake “yeses.” I celebrated interest instead of closing. Lesson: Don’t avoid selling. Ask the hard questions. Close the deal, or learn faster.

We are hiring at App&Flow! Fully remote (Canada), building or helping teams build the best RN/Expo apps. Looking for someone with initiative, deep RN knowledge, and some iOS or Android native experience. Fluency in French is a massive plus (some would say broken French 😉)

Prototyping a fun pull to refresh animation for Sunday. All the teal you see if based on the user's favourite team. If yours was Baltimore, it'd be purple

Most startup content talks about fundraising, product-market fit, or growth hacks. But what about actually selling? As a founder, especially early on, your most important job is driving revenue. If you're technical or product-driven, sales can feel awkward—maybe even

I finally found a solution to one of biggest reanimated performance issue `executeOnUIRuntimeSync`, it reduces rendering overhead of shared values by almost 50%. This saves ~300ms when opening a screen on low end android. github.com/software-mansi…

In sales, never leave a call without a next step. No next step = no momentum. No reason to follow up. Just… waiting. Put something on the calendar. Keep the ball rolling. Always book the next step.

💡 This question has never failed to move a deal forward: “What’s stopping you from fixing this today?” It: Surfaces hidden blockers Creates urgency Filters “now” vs “never” deals Stop asking “What’s your budget?” Start asking the questions that close.

How I’d get my first 3 customers (no product yet): 1️⃣ Pick 1 problem I can solve. 2️⃣ Find 10 people who have it. 3️⃣ DM: “Working on [X problem], can I ask 3 quick Qs?” 4️⃣ Take calls, refine problem. 5️⃣ Ask: “If I built this, would you pay?” 💡 Sell the outcome, not the app.

If you’re a startup founder trying to increase sales, remember: It’s not about selling harder, it’s about solving better. 💡 Talk to your customers. 🔍 Find their real pain points. 🚀 Position your product as the obvious solution. Growth follows clarity.

Your startup doesn’t have a sales problem. It has a visibility problem. More people need to know you exist. More people need to understand your value. Get LOUDER. Sales will follow.

Sales in a startup = momentum. No momentum? No oxygen. Talk to 10 potential customers today. Follow up with 5 old leads. Post once on social. Repeat daily. Small actions compound.

Your to-do list is lying to you. Not everything on it matters. Circle the 3 tasks that will actually move the needle today. Ignore the rest until those are done. Busy ≠ productive.

Chatted with a founder last week: “I know AI matters… but I don’t know how to use it in my startup.” Here are 5 quick wins founders can try today 👇 - Market research → Summarize competitor pain points - Cold outreach → Draft emails & DMs fast - Support → Auto-replies &
