Please think critically about breaking public health bulletins on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, etc. And if it doesn't pass the sniff test, ignore it. Social media can be great for spreading urgent news, but also is great for disinformationists. That's what is happening here.

This month, our submission to Veterinary Parasitology RSP was accepted for publication in next month's issue. This was my first venture into primary authorship and I am proud to say it went as well as it did. Take a peek via this link: authors.elsevier.com/a/1iOz18Z31Ku7…

🚨Canadian academics/trainees, your advocacy paid off. Finally a welcome increase in scholarships and fellowship amounts. MSc ($27k), PhD ($40k), and PDF ($70k). Today feels like a small win, tomorrow we continue to build a resilient future for our young scientists. #Budget2024

Had a terrific time at this year’s #AAVP meeting in Atlanta, GA. This was my first experience presenting at a conference and it was a blast. Hope to be back next year with more Echinococcus work

I despise and wholeheartedly disagree with the actions and positions held by those who own this platform; I only continue to hold this account to maintain connections in my scientific/academic position.
