Digging deep into Vue's code and finally figured out how to write a directive transform. 🚀 So here you go! github.com/antfu/v-lazy-s… 😴 A compile-time directive to make lazy v-show!

I took some benchmarks with Vite 4.3 beta on my Windows machine. Vite 4.3's cold start time is 3 times faster and also the hot start time is 1.3 times faster🏎. What's more, Vite 4.3's cold start time is now 1.5s faster than turbopack when using SWC plugin.😮

Reminder: Nuxt can run on the edge 🚀 This is the kind of excitement I got back then when I was able to make SSR with Vue back in 2016. nuxt.com/blog/nuxt-on-t…

A point not mentioned in the Vue 3.4 blog: Vue 3.2 had already optimized the performance of the reactivity system, enhancing the scheduling performance several times over. However, the reactivity system in Vue 3.4 has been rewritten, making it several times faster than Vue 3.2.

It’s morning at Vuejs Amsterdam and Evan You is speaking truth: Vue is the last major independent framework out there and there are no plans to change that. Consider that next time you spin up your next project.
