Punjab is dealing with its worst floods since 1988. Over 3 lakh acres of crops have been destroyed and more than 1,000 villages are underwater. 🙏 Prayers for Punjab & neighbouring states. Hope they get relief from the devastating floods soon.

It just takes one oddball 🤦🏽‍♂️ to mess up, and suddenly the whole community and country gets tagged with that image 😬. That’s why every time we step out, it’s on us to put our best foot forward 👟✨. Because like it or not, our behavior shapes how people look at all of us. 👥🌍

Saw a video of the Irish Guards marching in their bearskin hats 💂‍♂️… and then there’s one Sikh standing tall in his turban. Most of the Brits in the comments were super positive, calling out how British Sikhs are mad patriotic and serve the country like champs 🇬🇧💪. Big respect

We’d be waiting since morning for evening to roll in, time to head to the Gurudwara, light candles, come home, do the paath, light up the house, and then dig into all the Diwali mithai, homemade shakkar pare, and nimkis… before finally bursting crackers 🎆🪔 Of course, times

Back in the day, some Punjabi family, mostly Hindu Punjabi used to make their firstborn a Sikh 💪. They called it Gurdino, meaning “giving to the Gurus.” It was their way of showing respect to the Gurus and standing with the Khalsa, the OG protectors of the land ⚔️.
