Our Lab’s participation in the past couple of weeks Part 1: Sukhveer Bhullar was busy representing our lab at “Lunch by Water” organized by UF Water Institute on March 29. He presented on the benefits of banding N using high clearance equipment “High Boy”.
Our Lab’s participation in the last couple of weeks Part 2: Sukhveer Bhullar presenting his Ph.D work on Graduate Student Research day at Gainesville on April 2nd. He also presented at Future of Food Forum on April 3rd. Congrats to him on representing UF-NFREC-Agronomy-Lab !
Our labs participation Part 3: Sukhveer Bhullar and Aradhana Regmi competed in poster session on April 5 as part of UF IFAS NFREC Spring Showcase. They wond second places in their Ph.D and M.S categories respectively. Congrats to both!
Great mentoring opportunity for me today & learning opportunity for my PhD student Sukhveer Bhullar. We were at Madison County setting up our Controlled Release Fertilizer placement trial on Corn. CRF is placed at 2 inches deep at 7 and 5 inches away from corn row. #CRF #Corn #BMPs

Hosted a row crop (corn and cotton) variety evaluation along with Sod-based rotation (25th year long-term research and demonstration site) field day UF IFAS NFREC in Quincy, FL. Thanks for the UF-NFREC-Agronomy-Lab team for UF IFAS NFREC Quincy farm crew for their support.
