Congratulations to @alex_vonGunten and Kunal from Nikolla Lab for this exciting new work on the stability of sodium-air batteries!

Prospective Chemistry Graduate Students - Check this out!!! Our department University of Rochester Chemistry Department is AWESOME!!!

This work is the result of a collaboration with the Kevrekidis group at Johns Hopkins University. Also, thanks to Pushkar (Pushkar Ghanekar) and Siddharth (Siddharth Deshpande) for their valuable contributions.

New #publication on simulating ternary alloy segregation with DFT, machine learned potentials and Monte Carlo with comparisons to experimental data kitchingroup.cheme.cmu.edu/blog/2024/06/0… enabled by FAIR Chemistry #openaccess doi.org/10.1002/cphc.2…

The Schreier Group is hiring a postdoc to work on exciting electrochemical scale-up and reactor design in collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry. We aim to fill the position by September 2024. Send your CV with publication list to [email protected] ⚡️🧪!

In this work, we go beyond Cu catalysts, and explore oxide-derived Co catalysts for producing long-chain hydrocarbons! The experiments from Javier Perez-Ramirez have been followed up with simulations at TheorHetCat ICIQ, pin-pointing the role of polarized sites at the interface.

Excited to share the first original research article from the Krishna Group in Applied Catalysis B ! doi.org/10.1016/j.apca… We elucidate the redox pathways by which greenhouse gas N2O is reduced by NO and NH3 over iron-zeolite catalysts, an important technology for renewable NH3 engines.
