We are deeply saddened by the passing of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Ben Bathurst GCB. A remarkable leader, he served the Royal Navy and our Nation with distinction for over 40 years - from Squadron Commander to First Sea Lord. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
