Not sure what to do with your old air conditioner? Keep your cool, and do NOT wish-cycle it! ACs do not go in the recycling bin. Check with your city or town to see if they have drop-off options, or search "large appliances" on Beyond the Bin: bit.ly/3DlDCdb

Meet the circular economy: a concept that sees existing materials as treasure that can be reused, repaired, and recycled over and over again. Learn how the story of our stuff could be a never-ending loop instead of a one-way street that ends with trash: bit.ly/3AJ9eeX

GOES satellite imagery shows mostly clear skies across the area with a bit of wildfire smoke aloft. This should result in decent comet viewing conditions this evening. Look west 45 min or so after sunset. The comet should be about two fists at arm's length to the right of Venus

Spotted: A serious case of wishcycling! We don't know who needs to hear this, but car bumpers do NOT go in the recycling bin. If you're unsure how to handle large items like this, contact your city/town for instructions: bit.ly/2Nk9epX
