I’m just so overjoyed by how we Rwandans showed up and showed out at the John Legend concert🔥Not just to eat show😄but for a patriotic cause💪🏾. We, the youth and people of Rwanda, gave a true representation of how we show up for our #PK and our nation🇷🇼—proud & unapologetic🇷🇼♥️

It is really unfortunate the way Rwanda is treated whenever the DRC question comes up. And maybe, the only way to start to recognise Rwanda's concerns is to deal in the stubborn facts that have prevailed for nearly three decades

Rwanda🇷🇼,you prevailed over the genocide against Tutsi 30 years ago,you rebuilt from ashes. These westerners sanctions are nothing compared to what you went through 30 years ago Rwanda🇷🇼 You are going to be okay.

I don’t know what’s worse— willingly believing your own lies or trading your dignity for a paycheck and tweeting your way into self-exile. When that payroll has run its course, you’ll be left facing your fate, destined for doom and honestly…what a pity!

It’s a shame that survivors are so often left to organize Kwibuka events alone. Either at work, church, neighborhoods, etc. Some communities stand back, expecting those who lived through the pain to also carry the weight of remembrance, education, and commemoration.
