there is a direct link between the panic about queer/trans people being "groomers"/"predators" and the panic that asexuality is a made up identity meant to push children towards transness. the direct link is that both panics are being pushed by the same fascists.

hatred of asexuality and hatred of transness are born of the same fascist ideology, rooted in the same fears of non-cishetero gender and sexuality. to fascists, asexuality and transness are part of the same agenda/conspiracy to "suppress" cisheterosexuality. they're terrified.
