Profitably balancing your time between STRATEGIC work and CORE work is table stakes for top leaders. Acting as if you can’t do anything strategic while working on core projects is one of the easiest ways to disqualify yourself for advancement. #Leadership #WednesdayWisdom

Martin Luther King Jr's "I Have a Dream" speech is still relevant and inspirational for our times. Today is a great time to listen to the full speech, and allow the spirit of his message to take root in our hearts and help bring peace to our nation. youtu.be/p0kaR6otKng?t=…

My father's dream is not just a speech he gave or an idyllic view of what could be. My father's dream is something we must all choose each and every day to work towards. Together, we are all my father's legacy. #MLKDay

Had a fabulous time sharing on “The Power of Uncertainty” at the Conscious Leadership Summit. It's hard to go one day without seeing a headline about “uncertainty” in a negative way. Let's not forget that there are opportunities in uncertainty too. #leadership #uncertainty

“The job of a leader is to bring a sense of certainty to uncertain futures.” A common trait among leaders who accelerate company growth and sustain the gains is that they continually increase confidence in the belief that a specific future state will occur. #WednesdayWisdom

I remember seeing an interview of her when I was a teenager. She had the most serious expression on her face when she declared that she would only do parts that portrayed strong Black women. I'm grateful for her commitment and will always remember her example.

We get what we respect, not what we expect. I was always told to have high expectations… that my expectations would determine what I experienced. Instead, it's been what I showed appreciation for and gave honor to that has come to me. #WednesdayWisdom
