Like putting a Romani wagon on a 20ft pole at the Gypsy themed area they organise at Glastonbury, this charity and others use the exoticism of Romani culture to draw public favour and funders who don’t realise it goes to non-ethnic people who just choose to live in a van 🫡

Choosing to try to silence genuine ethnic voices, even more so very well qualified ones, rather than actually change, perfectly summarises the way these organisations work.
