Price controls? Really?! Come on, Dems. This is not a time to propose first-of-their-kind federal controls. Few want top-down government rethinks of the economy. Sanity, stability, and a commitment to the Constitution. That’s all it takes to win this election. Don’t blow it!

It’s a little nuts that in CS the “neuron” model (summed inputs from other neurons, a signal driven by a threshold gate) pre-dates the use of transistors and the modern digital logic gate.

Glenn Loury Pepperdine University What I hear from most of my POC middle school students is that they think that Asian kid is actually smarter than them, they have the built in excuse that "doing the work" is in fact useless. They are fixated on "smart" not effort. My Asian students believe just the opposite.

A crucial, but misunderstood part of individualism. When you treat people as individuals—as this woman did by not treating one man as an effigy for all the KKK—you break cycles of collective conflict. Collectivism drags innocents into conflict, individualism gives them choice.

Likely no one cares, but I've decided I'm done with Twitter. There was no particular precipitating event, I just feel like it's a net negative and I'm going to stop.
