Update from the Stepner living room: The 4-year-old before the faceoff: “Where is Al-ish Ovekish?” The 4-year-old after the faceoff and goal: “There he is!” Gotta love it! #ALLCAPS

Dang. Welp, time to flip the Capitals’ historical playoff script and come back from down 3-1. Have to find an extra gear… a couple extra gears… after a couple days of rest. One game at a time. One period at a time. One shift at a time. #ALLCAPS

Here he is. Moishe Stepner. My grandfather. 81 years ago this brave man landed on Juno Beach with his fellow Canadian troops and later went on to help liberate concentration camps in Europe. Thank you, Pop Moishe. Thank you to the greatest generation. #DDay81 🇨🇦🇺🇸

Major congrats to Panthers asst. coach Jamie Kompon. From on the ice in Bowie, Md. to on the ice celebrating another Stanley Cup. 25+ years ago he was helping my dad coach our Bowie Bruins team. Tonight he has another ring (also won the Cup with LA & Chicago). Well done, Jamie!
