Alberta is facing the fastest growing measles outbreak in the country, I have noticed a consistent avoidance of the term vaccination from this Government. Today in the legislature I demanded that the minister acknowledge the underlying problem is vaccine misinformation.

I know (almost) no one cares about parliamentary procedure when there are far larger problems happening, but the repeated use of time allocation feels like an abuse of process at this point.

Yesterday, the premier expressed that raising the minimum wage will potentially result in higher youth unemployment. No . Youth unemployment was below 10% in 2018 when the NDP increased minimum wage. With the current frozen minimum wage, youth unemployment approaching 20%.

The right to vote is not just privilege. It is at the heart of our democracy and our democracy is the strongest when everyone can participate. Bill 54 is a direct attack on democracy and peoples ability to vote and will leave Albertans behind. Better is possible.

Bill 54 threatens to plunge Alberta into a constitutional crisis. Instead of undermining Canada, Alberta should be at the forefront of strengthening it. That’s precisely why my caucus and I voted against it last night. Alberta needs leaders who foster unity, not division.

I had the pleasure of speaking and presenting a scroll to Londonderry Childcare Center during their grand opening today! It’s great to see such a much needed resource opening its doors to support the future of young Albertans. Welcome to the community! #grandopening

Across Alberta, from Calgary to Edmonton, small towns to mid-sized cities, codes of conduct have set basic standards for integrity, respect, and accountability in our local government. Bill 50 eliminates these codes. We voted against this bill, sadly government passed it anyway.

This is the taxpayers money. This is a public money. This is historic scandal. This can only be cleared through independent judicial-led public inquiry. Albertans deserve better. PERIOD. theglobeandmail.com/canada/alberta…

It is not about cost comparison, it is about affordability. Alberta is one of the very few provinces with NO income-tested rate for those who are struggling. Better options for low income Albertans is possible. We just need to will to do so Nathan Neudorf

Splitting the health ministry into four is a scheme to avoid accountability. Four ministers will confuse Albertans and make it easier to shift blame. This also won’t cut bureaucracy, it’ll just add more layers of management. This will only create confusion for Albertans.

The government house leader claims Bill 54 restores confidence. No, it doesn’t. First Nations leaders believe it erodes their relationship with the premier and her government. Business and investors believe it undermines investment confidence and deters investments in Alberta.

A new report from Calgary Food Bank shows 58,000 working Calgarians needed food hampers. This is up by 27% compared to previous year. 37% of food bank users are employed, while just 21% are unemployed. Work should protect people from hunger. globalnews.ca/news/11191917/…

Alberta is the only province clawing back $200 disability benefits from the federal government. Premier Smith government claims AISH is 'generous enough.' A new report shows 81% of Calgary Food Bank users are disabled Albertans struggling to afford basics. We can do better!

Despite falling real wages, living costs remain among the highest in Canada, and Alberta suffered the highest inflation of any province last year. Electricity prices, auto insurance, and tuition fees — all governed by provincial rules — have soared.. thestar.com/business/opini…

The corrupt care scandal continues! Alberta paid 6 times more for children’s Tylenol from Turkey. Premier Smith ordered 5M bottles, enough for 8 per child, despite warnings of oversupply. Most arrived after the shortage eased. We can do better! theglobeandmail.com/canada/alberta…

The numbers don’t lie. Since Danielle Smith took office, more and more working Calgarians are turning to food banks just to get by. -Paychecks aren’t enough. -Costs keep climbing. Working people shouldn’t turn to food bank in one of the richest provinces in Canada.
