This week I was reminded that it’s okay not to be okay. Grief, I’ve learned you see, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. I’m so lucky to have had someone that made saying goodbye so hard. My granddad truly was my No.1 supporter 💛

Last weekend, I played my first ever league match for the Caithness Krakens! 🦑🏉 It was a fantastic start to the season, with a very respectable 26-19 defeat. I was delighted to have been selected as ICD’s woman of the match! Bring on our first home fixture this weekend! 💚💛

Another rugby filled weekend as we played our first home fixture against the Orkney Dragons! Unfortunately we endured a 56-24 defeat, however so many lessons were learnt which moving forward will allow us to develop even further as a team! 🏉

Historical day for the Krackens as we celebrated our women’s first ever win! Yesterday’s 10-hour return bus journey was all worth it in the end when we came away with a 48-26 win against Fraserburgh Women’s RFC! 🏉💚💛

I was honoured to lay a wreath on behalf of my squadron at our local Remembrance Day parade. It was great to see so many veterans, servicemen and women, cadets, scouts, boys’ brigade and pipe band come together again to commemorate those who for our tomorrow, gave their today 🌹

Just in the door having made the journey to RAF Lossiemouth for our first face-to-face WSO, SME and OC Unit Conference! Plenty of exciting opportunities in the pipeline for 2022 - it’s going to be a busy year! 🤩

We had a cracking 26-22 win against the Aberdeenshire Quines RFC today! Delighted that I managed to score 3/3 conversions and that as a team, we had the opportunity to support the Stonewall Rainbow Laces campaign which promotes LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport! 🏉🏳️‍🌈 #rainbowlaces
