Just another one of those pieces where I start with a basic referrence image for the line art, but once I start shading, it becomes its own thing.

Drawing of Oliver Queen, using artwork from both Phil Hester and Alex Toth as a reference, while injecting a bit of my own style into the mix for the finished piece.

Every twice in a while, I'll come across a piece of artwork that I really want to recreate in my style. One of those was a sleepy Nedra, originally drawn by MarvelPoison. I did my best recreate the lineart, add my shading style, and even added a background. Hope y'all like it.

Elisa Maza character sheet in my drawing/shading style using her model sheets as reference. I had some problems with the faces on the full figure drawings, but the rest of the drawings came out nicely so, there's that...

I often find images through Google Images that I want to recreate in my own art style, but can't figure out who the original artist is so I can properly credit them for the inspiration. That said, I drew Fio Germi from Metal Slug, based on a drawing I found through Google.

This was my tribute to an artistic friend of mine who passed away earlier this year. It's based on a comic he created and is mostly in his art style, but I added a bit of my flair as well as my shading style.

The second of two drawings of Mandy based on Dean Yeagle's character and art drawn in his art style but with my shading style.

A simple drawing of Miss Holli Would, using a screenshot from the movie Cool World as a reference and shaded in my style. Enjoy.

Just wanted to share a quick drawing I did of the succubus teacher Ms. Sakie Satou from the anime series "Interviews with Monster Girls".

Back in 2020, I was challenged to draw obscure '80s cartoon characters, based on actual screencaps from those cartoons. This one, for example, is Nico from "The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers".

My absolute earliest drawing I did where I took the artwork seriously. Drawn WAAAAY back in 1996 using a Chuck Jones drawing from his book "Chuck Amuck" as a reference.

Alas, poor Peter, he never stood a chance. This was created using 4 separate reference images from Marvel's 2006 series "New Mangaverse: The Rings of Fate". Sadly, without finding the comics in my massive collection, I couldn't tell you what image(s) came from what issue.

Back in 2018, I attempted to do a couple of portrait drawings using photos I found on the internet, in a bid to better myself as an artist. This drawing of the lovely Liz Katz was one of those attempts, and while not perfect, I think it looks fairly decent.

I have a penchant for doing fan art using other's work as a basis. Though usually copied, it's never traced, and I always put my own little spin on it. This one is Sophie from JAGO DIBUJA's "Gamer Girl and Hipster Girl" comic.
