On Thursday, Jan 11, Central Station Plainclothes Officers spots a man breaking into a car and stealing a backpack at Bay and Embarcadero. After a brief foot chase, the suspect was arrested. The backpack was recovered and returned to the owner! Great job by these officers!

At the intersection of Grant Ave and Geary St there is an underground steam pipe rupture causing visible steam. SFFD, SFPD, DPT, PG&E are on the scene. DPW/PUC are en route to the scene. Grant Ave between Geary and Post are closed. Please avoid the area #SFFD #SFFDPIO
