Meet Ximistry Our newest scholar, Ximena, explores stochastic gene expression in senescence, aiming to unveil overlooked facets in gene expression and cell fate. Outside of lab, she innovates vegan food, blending scientific rigor with passion for Mexican cuisine and baked goods

Dr. Jonathan Sandoval studies phase separation and drug discovery in the Fujimori Lab UCSF and has insights into phase separation to unlock our understanding of leukemogenesis. When not science-ing, he plays soccer and effortlessly switches between 4 languages - what a polyglot!

Dr. Christine Liu dr. christine liu on blue sky studies cognitive flexibility, getting a better understanding of how certain drugs affect brain and behavior, particularly in psychiatric disorders caused by maladaptive neuroplasticity. When not in lab she's creating art and roller skating!
