Linda calmly guided the doula through the afterbirth procedures & talked them through tying off the umbilical cord until medics arrived. As a veteran dispatcher & mother of two, Linda knows how exciting & stressful labor can be, especially when the unexpected happens. (2 of 3)

This was Linda’s second post-birth assist in 17 years. 911 dispatchers receive a stork pin when they help deliver a baby from start to finish. Linda is still waiting on that stork pin, but we know mother & baby will be in good hands when it finally happens. (3 of 3)
