Our annual Summer Youth Emergency Preparedness Academy (SYEPA) is now in full swing! Over the next five weeks, these young people will receive vital training in CPR/AED, First Aid, and administering Narcan which will equip them with essential life-saving skills.

Participants in ServeDC's Summer Youth Emergency Preparedness Academy (SYEPA) toured the DC Fire and EMS Training Academy. This year's cohort got a firsthand look at how our first responders operate and learned valuable lessons about emergency response and public safety.

Team ServeDC attended National Night Out, where neighbors and government partners came together to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community. Thank you to everyone who joined to make the evening such a success!

Our morning shift is all checked in for the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Volunteers from all 8 wards are coming together to pack 450,000+ meals for neighbors in need and turning remembrance into action.
