After many months of work in collaboration with 🥝🐶 and CrazyVoid w/ help from Aleksei Kulaev, we have a hello world homebrew app running on the PS4 built with a custom toolchain / non-sony SDK! Still work to be done, but this is a big step for homebrew.

I've decided to publish my VMProtect devirtualizer working for every 3.x version up to the latest 3.6 along with the experimental x64 compiler. It can be found at github.com/can1357/NoVmp licensed under GPL-3, hopefully it attracts some interest in the VTIL project, enjoy :)

so, PS4 Crypto Coprocessor (CCP) interface in secure kernel had a bug that allowed us to dump (or better saying, bruteforce) key slots from SAMU, that's how AES/HMAC keys from PFS, portability keys, VTRM keys, etc could be retrieved on unpatched firmware: gist.github.com/flatz/22215327…
