Here is a SAKURA TREE AVENUE CYCLE TOUR for you made by moi. 🌸 Watch it! What else are you doing really. 💫 Muted due to gross breathing as I cycle nervously one handedly on a hot day. (Enter Lo-fi girl spring study/relax music)

230 - Regrets You know I try to always make funny comics about the ALT experience, but sometimes people just hate you despite your best efforts. I knew deep down that this student didn’t really mean it. I’m sure it just a result of a toxic household that is against foreigners.

Did you know it was my birthday not too long ago? 🎂✨ In my heart, I have never felt younger. I live in Japan with my best friend, who gave me a beautiful baby boy. I am very tired but happy to work slowly but surely in a creative way. (I still feel like I’m in my 20’s.)

231 - Recharge Like a lot of jobs, the day just takes it out of you. I believe music can recharge the soul and take us out of our own chaotic minds. Are you like me and only listen to like seven tracks on repeat on Spotify. It’s basically torture for anyone but me. 🎶

232 - Missing Shoe Oh man, when your social battery is full and your comedy is on point - what a feeling! P.S New dad life slows my comic making progress but now I’m taking care of two things I love.

Last month, we got the opportunity to work on a short new comic series for our local area called ‘Our Go-To Guide’. The name is a parody of the infamous GoTo Travel campaign in Japan during the Covid era. Exploring the area of Komazawa, Tokyo through a foreign point of view 🗺️🧭

Kusatsu Onsen A hot spring town in Gunma, Japan. The hot water known for its many health benefits, has to be cooled down for actual use. So without diluting it with cold water the Yumomi women cool the water with a song and dance that dates back to the Edo period.

Our Go-To Guide comic covers local business’ in the Komazawa area. Our first comic is about a cool sport shop that we found that happens to also be a cafe. Neat right? 💫

Some Students Are Ready To Hit A Home run ⚾️ ✨ Summer Koshien ( Japanese HS baseball tournament ) is starting soon. Ooh I can’t wait! It’s so passionate and inspiring to watch teens give it their all.

Festival time! 🏮✨🇯🇵 Why can’t we go back to a time where all we did was dance and be merry. Enjoy this glimpse of joy from where ever you are.

Pair Pair Bikes In Komazawa park, they have these pair bikes that you can cycle around on a designated course. A nice way to tour the park, now if you don’t mind me saying - I never want to draw a bike from different angles in every panel ever again. 🚲💫

Shoin-Jinja Shrine 🎐💫 Sleek Tori gate right? I don’t often seen them in black. Also look at this ‘Chinowa kuguri’ (grass wheel) where in a nutshell you have to go through the ring in a figure of eight for good luck. Plus hear the glass chimes! Neat right?
