Mozi: Basic (Writings Columbia University Press، 1963، pp. 97–11m3).

🧵GabrielSaidR’s upcoming book claims the Hijaz was Christian before Islam. This is a huge claim. If it is true, these are 10 questions I expect answered in the upcoming book. Each one tests whether the evidence actually supports this view. (1/12)

I I think you may be taking Reynolds too seriously. He often writes as a Christian apologist, with theological motives shaping his arguments more than scientific evidence. Many of his claims are speculative rather than firmly grounded.

Ridvan Apostates again from another religion 😂😂. Calling the God of the Bible ignorant on what is and isn’t revelation 😅. Hes speaking faster than he can think

In Jahiliyyah, the Bedouins' life was miserable. Despite that, most rejected the concept of an afterlife. Today, many assume that the concept of life after death exists only to give hope. However, the Bedouins that needed it most, rejected it, until they found evidence for it.

So I recently read Farid's interesting book titled Why the Companions Converted to Islam, and set about to write a review. It's a great, novel book in this genre, and I highly recommend people to buy a copy. Also listen to his discussion with brother Hamza A. Tzortzis Hamza

A quick thread on the failed predictions of Christians about Islam 🧵 1. John of Damascus (Byzantine theologian, d. ~749) Called Islam a "heresy of the Ishmaelites" destined to fade. (De Haeresibus, ch. 100; Sahas, 1972). Outcome: Islam outlasted Byzantium.

This letter from ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al ʿAzīz (680-720 ce), the leader of the then Muslim world's early view on the Bible's reliability & credibility is quite damning.
