Anthony Elanga was the fastest forward in the Premier League last season with a max speed of 36.91 km/h. That was a 7.7% increase on his previous season’s best of 34.27 km/h. How does he get faster? He sprints at max speed repeatedly, with sufficient rest between reps.

Injury incidence and burden were similar between the men's and women's Super League. Injury prevention strategies should focus on reducing the incidence of head & knee injuries with equal and specific focus given to men's & women's players. Article: doi.org/10.1016/j.jsam…
