I have signed the resolution authored by Councilmember Raul Campillo registering the City of San Diego’s support of Prop. 1. Prop. 1 will create 11,150 mental health beds in California for people suffering from severe substance use disorder and/or mental illness. #ForAllofUs

Great news for Tierrasanta drivers! Santo Road was recently resurfaced and restriped, making the road smoother and safer for all. Investing in our infrastructure is a top priority of mine. I will continue to fight for more funding for more road resurfacing throughout District 7.

#TeamLaCava participated in the Point-In-Time-Count, an important annual event that helps secure resources for the unhoused here in San Diego. It’s also an opportunity to speak to and hear from this vulnerable community to better address their needs. #WeAllCount

Our District 3 Team joined the annual #WeAllCount Point-in-Time Count. This count is instrumental in identifying the best ways to allocate funds to address homelessness across the County. Thank you to the Regional Task Force on Homelessness, volunteers, and city staff who took part in this count.
