🚔 Arrest Made 🚔 Deputies responded to a theft in progress on the 25600 blk of The Old Rd. A 26-year-old getaway driver was detained with a loaded, stolen firearm hidden in her clothing. Stolen merchandise & meth were recovered. She remains in custody & appears in court today.

Deputies patrolling Canyon Country spotted a stolen white Mercedes on Soledad Cyn Rd—taken in a violent L.A. carjacking. The suspect, 23, was arrested and booked at SCV Station, then released on citation. #SantaClarita #LASD

Deputies patrolling Santa Clarita took multiple suspects into custody in the past 24 hours, including those involved in assaults, DUIs, stolen vehicles, shoplifting, grand theft, and fraud. Keeping the community safe—one arrest at a time. #LASD #SantaClarita

Around 7 PM last night, deputies located an armed and dangerous suspect who initially fled law enforcement, leading to a brief pursuit. He was arrested for Criminal Threats, Evasion, and weapons charges without incident. Kudos to our deputies who brought him in safely.

Station JAG detectives led a coordinated, multi-location operation aimed at disrupting criminal street gang activity and safeguarding the Santa Clarita Valley. 13 search warrants across multiple locations, 11 detentions, 8 arrests.

If conditions allow on Sat., April 19, firefighters may light a prescribed fire (planned fire) of brush piles in the forest next to Oak Flat Campground. Smoke may be seen/smelled inside the Angeles National Forest, off I-5, and in Castaic, Santa Clarita, + Newhall.
