Education Secretary Jenny Gilruth was delighted to host a reception for members of Team Scotland WSDC, who won the World Schools Debating Championship. The successful pupils were welcomed to Bute House to celebrate their achievement with their parents, carers, coaches and teachers.

It was a privilege to be invited to a reception with Jenny Gilruth, and to get the chance to discuss the benefits of debating at schools.
