I think I’m happiest for Paul Maurice. I love that guy. Witty. Down to earth. Wears his heart on his sleeve. And is loyal to his players and team.

This is empathy, friendship, openness, love. This is what humans should aspire to, and bless Will Ferrell for using his platform like this. Greatness.

And this is why we boo the American anthem. It’s simple. We love so many Americans, and so much of America, and this guy is ruining that, and wants to ruin Canada, too. And fuck that.

American fans — imagine if Justin Trudeau said he wanted Canada to envelop the U.S. as a province. How would you feel? Does the booing make more sense now?

There’s something quietly healing about watching the sun slip beneath the horizon. Beauty night waking the shoreline at Sunset Beach.

Great album but loved Dig even more. I MOTHER EARTH was one of those really solid bands that rocked the ‘90s Canadian music scene - and their music still holds up today.
